Haryana Agriculture And Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J.P. Dalal Today Met A Delegation Of Farmers Producing Wheat Seeds In Karnal District At His Residence In Chandigarh
30 March 2021, Chandigarh: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr. J.P. Dalal today met a delegation of farmers producing wheat seeds in Karnal district at his residence in Chandigarh. During the meeting delegation, appraised Mr. J.P Dalal about the problems faced by them. The Agriculture Minister gave a patient hearing to the problems raised by the farmers and assured to resolve their issues after holding talks with the higher officials of the Agriculture Department.
Mr. J.P. Dalal said that the state government is committed to strengthen the economic condition of the farmers of the state. The government has effectively implemented various schemes and welfare programmes for the welfare of farmers.
Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Sh., Narendra Modi and under the guidance of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, effective steps are being taken to double the annual income of farmers by the year 2022, said the Minister.
He said that the necessary arrangements have been made by the state government for hassle-free procurement process of Rabi crops commencing from April 1, 2021, so that farmers do not face any kind of problem.
Necessary directions have been given to higher officials for making required necessary arrangements for electricity, drinking water, sanitation, etc. for the convenience of farmers in the Mandis. The interest of the farmers is paramount, therefore, this time the payment of procured crops will directly be made in the accounts of the farmers, said Mr. J.P. Dalal.
