07 September 2021, Chandigarh: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar is organizing Krishi Mela (Rabi), 2021 on September 8 and 9, 2021. One progressive farmer from each district will be honoured during this Krishi Mela.
Giving information in this regard, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. B.R. Kamboj said that a list of farmers to be honoured has been prepared. The main objective of honouring the farmers is to inspire other farmers to adopt progressive farming.
The main theme of this Krishi Mela (Rabi) to be held offline will be water conservation. Apart from this agricultural and agro-industrial exhibitions will also be organized in the fair so that farmers can get information about modern agricultural machines and techniques.
Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education, and Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi will be the chief guest at the inauguration of this Krishi Mela, while Dr. Gurdial Singh, Vice Chancellor, Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar will be the guest of honour . The Vice Chancellor of HAU and Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Professor B.R. Kamboj will preside over the function.
