Agriculture Minister Mr. Patel hands over in principle approval letter of Rs 100 crores

09 August 2020, Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Mr. Kamal Patel handed over a letter of in principle approval of Rs 100 crore to Mr. Pradeep Neekhra, MD, Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited, at the Regional Office of NABARD. He informed that with this amount 351 primary agricultural cooperative societies will be converted into multipurpose societies.

Mr. Patel informed that with this amount provided by NABARD, farmers will be able to received information regarding storage, grading, sorting and other agricultural information through primary agricultural cooperatives. Apart from this, people will also get the facility of e-mandis. The said amount is being provided under the Agri Infrastructure Fund (AIF).

Chief General Manager of NABARD, Sushri TSG Gain, Agriculture Production Commissioner, Shri K.K. Singh, Commissioner Cooperatives Shri Ashish Saxena, General Manager Shri Dushyant Singh Chouhan, Shri Y.N. Mahadevia and Shri M.I. Khan were also present on the occasion.
