05 February 2025, New Delhi: PBW 766, commonly referred to as Sunehri, is a high-yielding wheat variety developed by PAU, Ludhiana, and officially notified on December 24, 2021. This variety is optimized for timely sown, irrigated production conditions in Punjab, achieving an impressive average yield of 64.3 quintals per hectare and a potential yield of 79.2 quintals per hectare.
