High Yielding Wheat Variety MP (JW) 1323: Suitable for Maharashtra
03 February 2025, New Delhi: MP (JW) 1323 is a high-yielding wheat variety developed by JNKVV, ZARS, Powarkheda, and officially notified on December 24, 2021. This variety is designed for restricted irrigation production conditions in Maharashtra, with an average yield of 61.52 quintals per hectare and a potential yield of 76.06 quintals per hectare.
Notably resistant against brown and black rusts, MP (JW) 1323 also boasts a higher protein content of 14.5%. This makes it a nutritious option for consumers as well.
