High Yielding Wheat Variety HUW 711: Ideal for Uttar Pradesh

05 February 2025, New Delhi: HUW 711, known as Malviya 711, is a high-yielding wheat variety developed by IAS, BHU, Varanasi, and officially notified on December 24, 2021. This variety is suitable for late sown, irrigated production conditions in Uttar Pradesh, providing an average yield of 21.85 quintals per hectare and a potential yield of 43.15 quintals per hectare.

HUW 711 is distinguished by its higher levels of zinc (40.9 ppm) and iron content (40.2 ppm), which enhance its nutritional profile. Farmers in Uttar Pradesh seeking a high-yielding variety with added health benefits should consider HUW 711.
