03 February 2025, New Delhi: GW 1346 (Gujarat Wheat 1346) is a durum wheat variety developed for timely sown, restricted irrigation conditions in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, and Tamil Nadu. It is resistant to brown and black rust, ensuring a healthy and high-yielding crop.

Developed by ARS, AAU, Dhandhuka, this variety was notified under 99(E) on 06.01.2020. It has an average yield of 28.5 q/ha and a potential yield of 40.4 q/ha.
