High Yielding Wheat Variety AAI-W10: Best for Uttar Pradesh

05 February 2025, New Delhi: AAI-W10, known as SHIATS-W10, is a high-yielding wheat variety developed by SHUAT&S, Prayagraj, and notified on December 26, 2018. This variety performs well under timely sown, rainfed production conditions in Uttar Pradesh, showcasing an average yield of 43.07 quintals per hectare and a potential yield of 57.78 quintals per hectare.

This variety is notable for its resistance to brown rust, leaf blight, karnal bunt, and lodging, along with its tolerance to high temperatures. This makes AAI-W10 an excellent choice for farmers in Uttar Pradesh seeking a high-yielding, resilient wheat variety.
