IFFCO launches agri drone training platform
03 December 2021, New Delhi: IFFCO in association with WoW Go Green launched its 1st Agricultural Drone Training Program on Monday, inaugurated by Dr. U S Awasthi, Managing Director IFFCO.
The trainees from the states of Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat are part in the program. The program will educate and train the farmers for operating drones especially in the agriculture field.
“IFFCO always puts technology first to create innovative solutions for farmers. Spraying urea with drones in the agricultural field is a new invention. The fertilizer cooperative is trying and making an effort to make the idea successful’ said Dr. Awasthi.
Addressing the participants, the WoW Go Green Managing Director, Shankar Goenka said, this innovative Agricultural Drone Training Program will largely help in training the farmers for operating this new age device for agriculture.
IFFCO in its study has found that spraying Nano urea through drones is more effective on crops and will also have a positive effect on productivity. A large number of farmers who participated in trials report positive outcomes.
