Sonalika Clocks 1.53 Lakh Tractor Sales with 14.8% Market Share in FY25

07 April 2025, New Delhi: International Tractors Limited (ITL), the owners of tractor and agri mechanisation brands Sonalika and Solis, closed Financial Year 2025 with 1,53,764 overall annual tractor sales and a 14.8% overall market share. This includes ITL’s performance in the domestic market, supported by Sonalika’s heavy duty tractor range, which continues to see demand across India and in 150 countries.

During the year, ITL Group was listed among India’s Top 10 Auto Brands by Fortune 500 India, making its first entry into the list at rank 237 among India’s Top 500 companies.

ITL’s approach of focusing on customer needs and ongoing improvements has supported its progress. Initiatives such as the One Nation-One Tractor-One Price policy in FY’25 introduced a single pricing model for all customers across India. The continued display of tractor prices on the company’s website has aimed to build transparency for farmers.

The company introduced tractors such as the Cheetah series in Maharashtra, offering engines in the 18-32 HP segment and features suitable for orchard and vineyard applications. ITL manufactures a range of tractors from lower to higher HP categories at its integrated and robotic plant in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

Mr. Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said, “Our focus on partnering with farmers throughout FY’25 has contributed to our highest-ever 1,53,764 overall annual tractor sales and 14.8% market share. This year also marked our entry into the Fortune 500 India list and among the top 10 auto brands. Initiatives like One Nation-One Tractor-One Price and price visibility on our website aim to bring transparency to the industry and build trust among farmers.

Our teams, channel partners, and stakeholders have supported this effort across regions. With new technology introductions, product updates, and direct engagement with farmers, we continue to be a preferred choice. We look ahead to FY’26 with the goal of supporting better outcomes for farmers.”
