National Campaign on “Farm Mechanization” organized @Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav
06 April 2022, New Delhi: The ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa and the ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, North Goa organized the National Campaign on “Farm Mechanization” at Chodan Village today.
Mr. H.R.C. Prabhu, Senior Scientist & Head, ICAR-KVK, North Goa highlighted the importance of mechanization in the farm operations.
Mr. Rahul Kulkarni, Assistant Chief Technical Officer (Soil Science), ICAR-CCARI, Goa briefed about the farm machineries like Bush Cutter, Power Tiller and Tractor, etc. He also advised the farmers for availing the various Subsidy Schemes under the Farm Mechanization offered by the Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Goa and the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan & Tribal Sub Plan Schemes of the Government of India.
The Campaign organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence registered participation by 28 farmers.
