Javier Lodares is the new Business Director for New Holland and Case IH Iberia
03 October 2024, Spain: CNH has announced the appointment of Javier Lodares as business director of the New Holland and Case IH brands for the Iberia region, a position he will take over from Francesco Zazzetta, who will become business director of CNH’s agricultural brands for the Italian market, on 1 October. Both will report to Sean Lennon, CNH’s Vice President Commercial EMEA (Europe, Africa and Middle East).
Javier Lodares, an agricultural engineer from the University of Ciudad Real, takes up his new position from CNH, where he had been working as global product marketing, sales and communication manager for New Holland’s olive harvester and harvester business line for more than two years.
Javier brings a wealth of experience from CNH, where he began his career in 2004, holding several key positions in the agricultural division of the group in the French and Spanish markets, where he was involved in product marketing and commercial management. In addition to this extensive experience, he also has 8 years of experience in the machinery rental sector as operations manager and member of the management committee of a major company in the sector.
After learning of the appointment, Lodares pointed out “the exciting and motivating challenge” of returning to Spain and that his short-term objective is to “continue the business strategy and the projects underway to achieve the objectives already set”. Sean Lennon said Javier was the “ideal candidate” to “lead New Holland and Case IH Iberia not only because of his vast internal knowledge of the company and his innovative approach, but also because of his vision for agriculture and the development of the agricultural business thanks to his strong family ties to the countryside”. With all this, together with “the large and professional team that makes up the CNH Iberia family”, he is confident that Javier “will lead CNH to new successes in the Iberian market, consolidating the image of CNH’s agricultural brands on the solid foundations that Francesco Zazzetta has created”.
Sean Lennon also thanked Francesco very warmly for accepting the offer to return to the Italian market as head of the business and for having done “an extraordinary job, in some tremendously adverse times during his time in Spain, leaving a legacy and a strong strategic base for the promotion of the New Holland and Case IH brands in Iberia”.
