Water Conservation Necessary For Future Generation: Agriculture Minister

31 March 2025, New Delhi: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Mr. Shyam Singh Rana has called upon the people of the state to conserve water. He reiterated the Prime Minister’s appeal on water conservation after listening to the 120th episode of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in Yamunanagar district today. He said water is a precious asset for our life, and collective efforts are necessary for its conservation. Water conservation is necessary for the future generation.

Mr. Shyam Singh Rana supported the views of the Prime Minister on the increasing global popularity of Yoga and Ayurveda and said that the demand for Ayurveda is increasing rapidly in South American countries, especially Chile. The Prime Minister had discussed this subject with the President of Chile during his visit to South America, which shows the global acceptance of Ayurveda.

The Agriculture Minister said the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme is has inspirational messages for the countrymen, which every citizen should adopt in their lives. He appealed to the people to imbibe the message of the Prime Minister and contribute to the progress of the country.
