Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare visits CHF and KVK, East Siang, Arunachal Pradesh

21 July 2022, New Delhi: Mr. Kailash Choudhary, Union  Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare was on his visit to the College of Horticulture & Forestry and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, East Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh here today.

During the Review Meeting of KVKs & ICAR Institutes, the Minister urged for providing the vocational training to the rural unemployed youths, preparing the planting materials of Oil Palm and popularizing the Beekeeping & Natural Farming.

Er. Mr. Tage Taki, Minister of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh; Mr. Tapir Gao, Member of Parliament (East) Arunachal Pradesh; Dr. Shambhu Kumar, National General Secretary & Incharge, North-East States and Uttar Pradesh, BJP Kisan Morcha; Mr. D. Libang, State President, Kisan Morcha, Arunachal Pradesh and Heads of KVKs of Arunachal Pradesh along with the Senior Officials of ICAR Institutes and KVKs were also present during the occasion.

Earlier, delivering the welcome address, Dr. B.N. Hazarika, Dean, CHF-Central Agricultural University, Arunachal Pradesh highlighted the various achievements made by the College and KVK in the last 20 Years.
