Team from Centre visits banana fields in Madhya Pradesh infected by CMV
07 January 2023, Madhya Pradesh: The banana crop affected by Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV) was inspected by a team of senior scientists constituted by the Ministry of Agriculture.
The team visited the villages in Burhanpur District for high infestation of CMV in the banana crop for the last two years. Samples of banana crops infected with the CMV virus were collected from fields for examination.
