Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) visits ICAR-IARI, Assam

30 May 2024, Assam: Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Secretary (DARE) and Director General (ICAR), visited ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Assam for the first time on 24th-25th May 2024. During his visit, he interacted with the UG students, Scientists, Technical, Administrative, and Finance staff of ICAR-IARI Assam and applauded the staff for their continuous efforts in establishing state-of-the-art facilities on the campus. He highlighted the institute’s advancements, extending ICAR’s support for its growth and predicting its significant role in shaping North-East India’s agriculture systems, while also discussing ongoing construction progress with NPCC staff.

Dr. Pathak accompanied by Dr. A.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-IARI, and other officers visited the institute’s research farm to observe the field-based research work and also to monitor the ongoing work concerning the research farm development.
