Roof Over Every Head: Haryana Government’s Commitment Shines as 4,203 Allotment Letters Distributed – Agriculture Minister
27 June 2024, Chandigarh: Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Mr. Kanwar Pal distributed allotment letters to 4,203 beneficiaries from Jagadhari, Karnal, and Pinjore under the Chief Minister Urban Housing Scheme. He said that the government’s objective is to ensure that every individual has a roof over their head and that the benefits of government schemes reach the state’s most disadvantaged citizens.
Addressing the gathering in Jagadhari on Wednesday, Mr. Kanwar Pal was accompanied by Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Das Arora, who attended the event as a special guest.
Mr. Kanwar Pal initiated the distribution of allotment letters to 3,139 beneficiaries from Jagadhari, 521 from Karnal, and 543 from Pinjore.
The Agriculture Minister said that both the Central and State Governments are trying to bring poor families into the mainstream. Plot allotment letters are being distributed in rural and urban areas to fulfill the dream of a person who does not have his own house. Recently, Chief Minister Mr Nayab Singh provided ownership letters to around 9,000 rural residents. Today, allotment letters for plots were distributed to 15,250 beneficiaries across the state, marking a significant achievement. He said that the government has decided to provide Rs. 1 lakh to a poor individual to purchase a plot in villages where there is no panchayat land available.
