Private Shop Sealed After Illegal Stock of DAP Fertilizer Found
19 May 2025, Shivpuri: A private shop has been sealed after an illegal stock of DAP (Diammonium Phosphate) fertilizer was discovered during a surprise inspection. As fertilizer distribution to farmers is currently underway, District Collector Ravindra Kumar Choudhary has instructed all SDMs to closely monitor the operations at fertilizer distribution centers to prevent any irregularities.
Kolaras SDM Mr. Anoop Srivastava reported that a tip-off was received about an illegal stock of DAP fertilizer at a shop named Pawan Traders in Kolaras. Acting on the information, a joint team from the Revenue and Agriculture Departments conducted a raid at the location. During the inspection, 40 bags of DAP fertilizer were found in the shop without any valid documentation or stock entry in the POS (Point of Sale) machine.
As the storage of the fertilizer was found to be in violation of regulations, the shop Pawan Traders was sealed with immediate effect.
