During the event, PM Modi will transfer the first installment of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) to beneficiaries in Jharkhand, Gujarat, and other states. This move is part of the government’s effort to ensure affordable housing for rural families.

In Jharkhand, PM Modi will distribute sanction letters to approximately 20,000 beneficiaries and transfer over Rs. 5 crore to their bank accounts. Additionally, a housewarming ceremony will be held for 46,000 newly completed homes in the state. For Gujarat, Rs. 93 crore will be transferred to 31,000 beneficiaries on September 16, while in Odisha, a large-scale event will see the disbursement of Rs. 3,180 crore to 10 lakh beneficiaries on September 17.

Chouhan also announced the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), aiming to construct 62,500 km of all-weather roads and enhance connectivity in rural areas. These initiatives reinforce the government’s commitment to rural development and upliftment, ensuring “Housing for All” by 2024.
