Kisan Mela On ‘EXHIBITION Of Scientific Cultivation Methods For Enhanced Production In Horticulture Crops
29 March 2025, New Delhi: The College of Horticulture & Forestry, Central Agricultural University (Imphal), Pasighat, in collaboration with ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology, New Delhi, organized a state-level Kisan Mela on ‘Exhibition of Scientific Cultivation Methods for Enhanced Production in Horticulture Crops’ under the NEH component today.
On this occasion, Mr. Tapi Darang, Member of Legislative Assembly, stressed the importance of adopting scientific practices and improved varieties of horticultural crops for enhanced production.
Mr. Tatling Pertin, ADC, East Siang, highlighted the importance of incorporating modern technologies and organic farming practices to improve the quality and yield of horticultural crops.
Around 200 farmers from different districts of Arunachal Pradesh attended and benefitted from different agricultural inputs, such as citrus saplings, biofertilizers, biopesticides, yellow sticky traps, and vegetable seeds of improved varieties.
