24 August 2022, New Delhi: In a notification released today, the government of India announced its decision to have single brand of fertilizer under One Nation One Fertilizer scheme.
Urea, DAP, MOP, NPKs etc., of all fertilizer companies, state trading entities and fertilizer marketing entities will now be called Bharat Urea, Bharat DAP, Bharat MOP and Bharat NPKs. A logo indicating fertilizer subsidy scheme ‘Pradhanmantri Bhartiya Janurvarak Pariyojana’ will be used on fertilizer bags.
