ICAR-NINFET Supports Start-up For Bio-degradable Engineered Leather Production In Shivamogga
17 December 2024, New Delhi: Natural fiber-based bio-degradable vegan leather unit licensed by ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology was set-up by M/s Parna Creation Private Limited, Shivamogga, Karnataka. The unit was inaugurated by Sri D.S. Arun, MLC of Shivamogga.
The Chief Guest, Mr. D.S. Arun has stressed the need for the local for vocal and waste-to-wealth economical model of development of Karnataka State.
Dr D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, emphasized the importance of vegan leather and its role in the Sustainable Development Goal.
