ICAR-DRMR inks MoU with M/s Ulink AgriTech Private Limited
31 July 2024, New Delhi: ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with M/s Ulink AgriTech Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, today for the non-exclusive licensing of Rapeseed-Mustard Hybrid (NRCHB-506).
Dr. P. K. Rai, Director, ICAR-DRMR, Bharatpur, and Dr. Devraj Arya, representative, M/s Ulink AgriTech Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, signed the MoA on behalf of their respective organizations.
Dr. Rai emphasised that the commercialization of high-yielding new varieties will help bring more areas under the improved and promising varieties that can help achieve self-sufficiency in oilseed production in the country. He also briefed about developing other high-yielding varieties that are ready to be sold.
Apart from the high-yielding varieties, the directorate also registered some trait-specific germplasm.
All the PME, ITMU, and ITMC officials were present during the occasion.
