ICAR-CCRI Inked MoU with MAGENT Society, Govt. of Maharashtra for Centre of Excellence
25 July 2024, New Delhi: ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur inked an MoU with the Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (MAGNET) Society, Govt of Maharashtra today. Through the MoU, MAGNET officially recognized ICAR-CCRI as a Centre of Excellence, underscoring the pivotal role of the institute in advancing technology development, and technology dissemination, and offering support for business incubation to FPOs and VCOs in the citrus domain. The programme aimed to mark a significant step forward in the joint endeavors to promote the citrus industry in Maharashtra.
Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI, emphasised that the MoU is the sprouting of a productive and meaningful collaboration for the benefit of citrus stakeholders in the state.
Dr. Amol Yadav, Joint Managing Director, and Sh. Vinayak Kokade, Director, MAGNET Project, acknowledged ICAR-CCRI for their substantial contributions to the enhancement of the citrus sector in Maharashtra and throughout India.
The partnership is anticipated to foster innovation and stimulate growth within the citrus sector.
