Hisar Will Organise Farmers Training Programme Through Video Conferencing
13 January 2022, Chandigarh: To ensure saving of time and finances of the farmers amidst Corona pandemic, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar will organise farmers training programme through video conferencing. For this, arrangement of modern equipment has been made at Saina Nehwal Institute of Agriculture Technology, Training and Education under CCSHAU
While giving information in this regard today, a spokesperson of the University said that on behalf of Saina Nehwal Agricultural Technology Training and Education Institute, various training programmes including mushroom production, bee keeping, sewing-embroidery, value addition of crops, dairy farming, horticulture, production of vermicompost, production and preservation of vegetables etc. are organised for farmers, youth and women, but due to the on-going pandemic, it is not possible to conduct training programme through offline medium. In such a situation, online training will be given to farmers, so that they can get information easily about the advanced varieties of crops and modern farming techniques which would provide maximum benefits to them.
He said that by organizing such training programmes, unemployed youth would get opportunities for self-employment.
