Haryana Government Agrees to Purchase 23 Crops at MSP
19 October 2024, New Delhi: In a significant move, the Haryana government has announced its decision to purchase 23 crops, a combination of both Kharif and Rabi season crops, at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Union Minister Chouhan thanked and congratulated Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for this farmer-friendly decision. He praised the Haryana government’s commitment to supporting the agricultural community by ensuring fair prices for their produce across both cropping seasons.
Chouhan lauded the initiative, highlighting that the decision to procure all 23 crops at MSP will offer much-needed financial stability to farmers. This move will ensure that farmers across the state, engaged in both Kharif and Rabi crop cultivation, will receive fair returns for their produce, thus reinforcing Haryana’s agricultural strength.
