Farmers’ Meet-Cum-Exhibition Organised
08 March 2025, New Delhi: ICAR-Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, organized a farmers’ meet-cum-exhibition today. The event was graced by Shri Peter Salam, Director, Department of Agriculture, Government of Manipur, as the Chief Guest.
In his address, Shri Peter Salam urged the agriculture officials to dedicate the first half of each working day in the field, fostering better relations with farmers.
The event also featured success stories from innovative farmers, as well as an exhibition highlighting ICAR’s technologies, agri-entrepreneurs, and products from farmer-producer organizations.
During the programme, critical agricultural inputs were distributed to the farmers to aid their farming efforts.
A total of 200 participants, including delegates and farmers from various districts, attended the event.
