Dr K.H. Singh appointed as the Director of ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research

01 November 2022, Indore: Dr. K.H. Singh took over as the Director of ICAR-Indian Soybean Research Institute, Indore.

Prior to this, Dr Singh has worked in various positions at the Directorate of Rapeseed Mustard Research since his joining in the year 1997. During his scientific tenure spanning 25 long years as plant breeder, he has developed number of mustard varieties, including hybrid mustard NRCHB 506 which have been greatly appreciated by the farming communities.  

Dr Singh is the breeder of the most popular and notable varieties of mustard “NRCHB 101”, “Giriraj” and “Brijraj”, which were widely adopted by the farmers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, North-eastern hill region and southern states.
