Chances of hailstorm in northern, central and eastern regions of India
27 December 2021, Indore: According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, at present the Western Disturbance is located over Haryana as a cyclonic circulation between an altitude of 1.5 km and 4.5 km above sea level.
While the updated Western Disturbance around Afghanistan is 30 degrees. It is active as a trough in north latitude. At the same time, a trough is passing from Northeast Rajasthan to West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha region. In Parallel, a cyclonic circulation is active over Southwest Bihar. Due to these, there is a possibility of thunderstorm / hailstorm on 28th-29th December mainly in the northern, central and eastern regions in India.
