Central India Fertilizers will invest 6 thousand crores in Madhya Pradesh

10 January 2023, Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had a one-to-one discussion with the Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Lubes and Kuwait-based NBTC Company’s Malaysia-based Central India Fertilizers and Refinery Company’s representative Mr. J.V.V.  Satyanarayan regarding investment in the state.

On the company’s proposal for relocation of Kuwait based fertilizer plant and setting up a crude oil refinery of 10 MT production in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan said “Go Ahead” and said that the state has land, gas pipeline, sufficient electricity, water, Rail and good road network. You make a roadmap with the state government team and tell them how soon you are starting the work of setting up the units.

The officials of the company told the Chief Minister that the company would invest Rs. 6,000 crores in the fertilizer complex and Rs. 15 to 20 thousand crores in the refinery complex. This will employ more than 2,500 people.

Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan discussed several such plans with industrialists and investors on the second day of the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention on January 9th, at the Brilliant Convention Center, Indore.

Investment in Organic Farming From Tanzania

METL Group of Tanzania is keen to conduct activities in Madhya Pradesh in the field of Indo-Africa cross-country tourism. Also, this group is interested in investing in organic farming, electrical vehicle manufacturing, and agriculture. Chief Executive Officer of the group Mr. Indrabhuvan Singh and representative Mr. Vivek Rakhecha met Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan in this regard.
