Bt cotton seed prices for 2022-23 released by Agriculture Ministry of India
17 March 2022, New Delhi: Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delh today released the maximum selling prices for cotton seeds under Cotton Seeds Price (Control) Order 2015. These prices will be applicable for the financial year 2022-23 across India.
As per this notification Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis) cotton seed packets (450 gm for Bt cotton seed and 120 gm of Refugia/475 gm IRB seed packets containing minimum 5% and maximum 10% non Bt cotton seed) containing BG-l is priced at Rs.635 and BG-ll is priced at Rs. 810.
