Bajrang Punia Named Working Chairman of All India Kisan Congress
07 September 2024, New Delhi: In a significant political move, wrestler Bajrang Punia has been appointed as the working chairman of the All India Kisan Congress. This announcement was made earlier today during a ceremony where fellow wrestler Vinesh Phogat also officially joined the Congress party, alongside party general secretary KC Venugopal.
This development comes just ahead of the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, set for October 5, with vote counting scheduled for October 8.
