Opening of the 2024 International Agricultural Exhibition – AgroViet 2024
21 November 2024, VN: On November 20, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Agritrade) coordinated with the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development to organize the opening ceremony of the 24th International Agricultural Exhibition (AgroViet 2024) in Hanoi, with the theme “Connecting value chains, developing green agriculture, circular economy”.
This event attracted hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises to participate, promoting international cooperation, promoting Vietnamese agricultural products and expanding export markets, with 256 standard booths. The international business pavilion area alone has 99 pavilions, from countries and territories such as: China, Mongolia, Korea, Australia, Russia… Domestic pavilions come from 40 localities, including: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City, provinces in the Southeast region, South Central Coast, Northern mountainous region, Red River Delta, Mekong Delta, Central Highlands…
Also at this fair and exhibition, machinery and equipment serving production: Engines, rice milling machines, lawn mowers, pumps, mini tillers, gasoline-powered chainsaws, tea roasters, tea dryers, tea leaf slicers, pesticide spraying drones; grain dryers, fertilizers, biological products, organic nutrients, plant varieties, irrigation systems; agricultural film, agricultural greenhouse components, high-tech antibiotics, disinfectants, antibodies, probiotics, unique biological vaccines with high quality and efficiency for veterinary and aquaculture… are displayed and introduced to consumers, farmers, domestic and foreign enterprises.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center shared: This exhibition fair takes place on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Vietnam and Mongolia. The Fair’s organizing committee coordinates with specialized agencies and international organizations to organize many practical and meaningful activities: Vietnam – Mongolia agricultural product promotion forum, business trade conference between the two countries and people-to-people exchange program between Vietnam and Mongolia. AgroViet 2024 also displays and introduces typical agricultural products, footwear products, nomadic tents… bearing the traditional steppe culture of Mongolia.
AgroViet is an important annual trade promotion event of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. AgroViet 2024 is organized to promote and expand international economic cooperation and exchange, promote brands, products, trade transactions, honor agricultural, forestry, fishery products, OCOP products, agricultural products, specialties of localities across the country; is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit the domestic and export markets.
The fair takes place from November 20 to 23, 2024 at the Economic and Trade Fair and Exhibition Area No. 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Co Nhue 1, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi and is open free of charge for people to visit and trade.
