05 February 2021, China: Minister Tang Renjian held a video meeting with French Minister of Agriculture and Food Julien Denormandie on Feb. 4, 2021. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on furthering bilateral agricultural cooperation.
Minister Tang stated that under the guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China and France have enjoyed sound cooperation, rapid growth in agricultural trade and fruitful results in various fields in agricultural cooperation over the past years.
Minister Tang said that that the two sides should implement the consensus reached between the two heads of state. To this end, he proposed that the two sides step up cooperation for greater progress in rural economy and agricultural trade, agricultural vocational training and rural cooperatives, and strengthen agricultural policy exchanges and S&T cooperation to uplift bilateral agricultural cooperation.
Minister Denormandie agreed with Tang, expressing willingness to further agricultural cooperation with China for the greater benefits of the two peoples.
