HarvestPlus at the 2022 World Food Prize and Borlaug Dialogue events

29 September 2022, Iowa: HarvestPlus CEO Arun Baral and Senior Crop Scientist Dr. Mahalingam Govindaraj are speaking at sessions and events during the 2022 World Food Prize week and Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue in Des Moines, Iowa, during Oct. 17-20.

On Sept. 19, Dr. Govindaraj will receive the Norman E. Borlaug Award for Field Research and Application, in recognition of his work to develop and promote iron-biofortified pearl millet.

Read an interview with Dr. Govindaraj about his award-winning work, which was conducted through the CGIAR’s HarvestPlus program while he worked at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in India.
