FreshStart™ – This year, the company launched new disinfectants for the disinfection of washing water in contact with apples that are organic certified by CAAE. FreshStart degrades quickly without leaving residues and can decrease contaminants in water treatment and help make water recycling more efficient and less costly. These disinfectants work as a complement to fungicides for optimal rot control.
Harvista™ – AgroFresh’s near-harvest solution, Harvista helps growers control how and when apples ripen, controlling peak ripeness, helping to extend the harvest window and allowing them to adjust to unexpected weather conditions, climate changes and labor availability. The unique mode of action allows for flexible use with proven efficacy to increase quality yield and reduce waste. In 2022, Harvista was approved via emergency permit for use in several European countries, including Hungary, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, Poland and the Piamonte region in Italy.
