Evaluation Meeting for China-Aided Agricultural Project in Mozambique Held Online

02 February 2021, China: At a special time when countries across the world have been working together to defeat the COVID-19 outbreak, the mid-term evaluation meeting for phase three of a China-aided advanced agricultural technology project in Mozambique was held via video conference on Jan. 29. The Agency for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce (AIECO), the evaluation team from Yuan Longping High-tech Agriculture Co., Ltd., all members of the expert team in Mozambique, and the Center of International Cooperation Service (CICOS) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs attended the meeting.

CICOS expressed appreciation to the expert team for carrying out foreign aid in a healthy and orderly manner amidst the pandemic. It also introduced the overall developments of the project and raised expectations and hopes for the expert team’s future work. He Changyong, head of the expert team, gave a detailed report on the project. The evaluation team provided comments on the project, put forth helpful suggestions, and set the direction for the work of the expert team in the next stage. AIECO spoke highly of the evaluation meeting, calling for the expert team to continue to tell China’s stories and convey China’s voice, and provide strong support for China’s agricultural assistance in foreign countries.
