11 May 2022, United States: AgBiome, a leader in global agricultural innovation, was once again named among the country’s best employers in Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list. Following a comprehensive evaluation process, this list recognizes companies for achieving excellence in creating exceptional workplaces and positive company cultures. AgBiome will be featured in the May/June 2022 issue of Inc. both on newsstands and online.
“AgBiome places culture at the forefront, challenging traditional workplace models to ensure we are not just a great place to work, but a great place to grow your career,” said Elizabeth Claypoole, head of human resources at AgBiome. “We believe that our people make the difference. A crucial part of our success as an innovator is the workplace environment we have here – one where we encourage open idea sharing, learning from others and thinking big.”
After reviewing thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 475 companies to honor on this year’s list. All nominated companies took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which covered topics including management effectiveness, company perks and benefits, fostering employee growth and overall company culture. Each of these categories were audited to determine the company’s overall score and ranking.
“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” says Inc.editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”
