6th BioAgTech World Congress & Expo 2025 Concludes in New Delhi, Spain Announced as Next Host Country
26 April 2025, New Delhi: The 6th edition of the BioAgTech World Congress & Expo concluded in New Delhi on April 25, 2025, reinforcing its position as the premier global event for biological agriculture and agri-tech innovation. Held from April 23rd to 25th, the three-day global gathering welcomed delegates from more than 25 countries and served as a pivotal forum for scientists, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and agri-leaders to converge and drive forward sustainable farming solutions.
Sessions that Moved the Industry Forward
A major highlight was the ICAR-led workshop, which offered an immersive experience into India’s agricultural innovations and technology deployment. The platform spotlighted India’s rising influence in the global biological agriculture ecosystem and its dynamic policy-science-business convergence.
One of the most talked-about panels was the MNC Leaders Roundtable, which explored “Must-win battles, challenges, and opportunities in establishing tangible biocontrol businesses within established conventional frameworks.” It featured an influential lineup including Sanjay K Tokala (Head, Syngenta Biologicals), Simon Wiebusch (CEO, Bayer CropScience India), Parmeet Kamat (Commercial Director APAC, Corteva Biologicals), Emilie Seguret (UPM NPP), and Roger Tripathi, the Congress organiser and Chairman, CEO, and Founder of Global BioAg Linkages. The session underscored the urgent need to harmonize conventional and biological systems to meet the dual challenges of productivity and sustainability.
Other sessions explored regulatory landscapes across emerging markets such as Brazil and India, symbiotic stakeholder relationships, and investment trends fueling the next wave of bio-innovations. A dedicated track for startups and venture capital offered insight into the evolving investor appetite in BioAg, while open networking and exhibition spaces enabled real-time business matchmaking.
