2023 Borlaug International Dialogue registration now open
19 May 2023, Iowa: Registration is open for the World Food Prize Foundation’s 2023 Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue, which will take place October 24-26, 2023, in Des Moines, Iowa, and virtually.
The Borlaug Dialogue gathers international leaders in food and agricultural innovation, along with farmers, policymakers and business leaders to address the most pressing food security and nutrition issues facing our world today.
The theme for the 2023 Borlaug Dialogue, Harnessing Change, will focus on harnessing innovation, adaptation and diversification to improve systemic resilience, recover from shocks and sustainably nourish all people.
Past speakers at the Borlaug Dialogue include co-founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Bill Gates, USAID Administrator Samantha Power, AGRA President Agnes Kalibata, former Prime Minister to the United Kingdom Tony Blair and Canadian Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau.
Concurrent with the Borlaug Dialogue, students from across the United States and around the world will join us in Des Moines for the Global Youth Institute, an integral educational experience in agriculture and global development.
Discounted tickets are available until July 15 for in-person attendance. Virtual attendance is available for everyone to attend at no cost. Registration is available online.
