How to Prevent Aphid Infestation in Mustard Crop

25 February 2025, New Delhi: Aphid infestations can significantly harm mustard crops by sucking the sap from leaves, which weakens the plants. Monitoring for aphids is essential, especially in early stages of crop growth. Farmers should regularly inspect the plants for any signs of aphid presence and, if necessary, cut and destroy the infected parts to prevent further spread.

Early intervention is key to preventing large-scale damage. By following agromet advisory, farmers can maintain a healthy mustard crop and ensure a better yield.
