Protect Soybean Seed Production Fields from Fungal Diseases with These Recommended Fungicides
04 October 2024, New Delhi: Preventing fungal diseases in seed production fields is essential to maintaining high-quality soybean crops. Agricultural experts recommend spraying one of the following fungicides:
- Pyraclostrobin 20% WG: 375-500 grams per hectare
- Fluxapyroxad 167 g/L + Pyraclostrobin 333 g/L SC: 300 mL per hectare
- Tebuconazole 25.9 EC: 625 mL per hectare
- Carbendazim 42% + Mancozeb 63% WP: 0.25 kg per hectare
Applying these fungicides at the right time will protect the crop from fungal infections and preserve seed quality. Additionally, for protection against storage pests like stink bugs, almond moths, and pulse beetles, Profenofos (1 liter per hectare) should be sprayed.
