Technical Advisory from Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) for Indian Farmers
08 April 2025, New Delhi: The latest IARI Advisory stresses on controlling shoot and fruit borer infestation in brinjal and tomato crops. Farmers are advised to collect and destroy affected shoots and fruits by burying them in the soil to prevent further pest breeding. This physical method reduces the pest load significantly and is an important part of integrated pest management.
