Control Pod Borer in Soybean: Essential Insecticides for Crop Protection

04 October 2024, New Delhi: Pod borers can cause significant damage to soybean crops, especially when the pods are filling. Agricultural experts recommend using one of the following insecticides to control pod borers:

• Indoxacarb 15.80% EC: 333 mL per hectare
• Emamectin Benzoate 01.90%: 425 mL per hectare
• Broflanilide 300 GL SC: 42-62 grams per hectare
• Flubendiamide 39.35% SC: 50 mL per hectare

Timely application of these insecticides can effectively control pod borers, ensuring minimal crop damage. Farmers should regularly inspect their fields for early signs of pest infestations and act quickly to mitigate the risk.
