Pyriproxyfen: A Growth Regulator for Pest Management

20 January 2025, New Delhi: Pyriproxyfen is a juvenile hormone analog used to disrupt the development of insects. It is effective against pests like mosquitoes, fleas, and whiteflies, preventing their larvae from maturing into adults.

It is used in both agricultural and public health pest control.
