PMFAI to Host International Crop Science Plenary Session & Exhibition in Delhi, June 2025

31 March 2025, New Delhi: The Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI), through its associate PMFAI Agribusiness Foundation, is set to organize the International Crop Science Plenary Session & Exhibition (ICSCE) in India from June 11-13, 2025.

PMFAI, a leading industry body established in 1967, has been instrumental in promoting the Indian agrochemical and agri-bio industry, fostering trade, and supporting entrepreneurship. With a strong membership base of 220 companies, including large, medium, and small industries from agrochemical, agri-biotech, and allied sectors, PMFAI plays a critical role in advocating for safe and judicious use of agricultural inputs to ensure food security.

A Key Industry Platform for Sustainable Agriculture

The ICSCE 2025 in India will serve as a premier platform to promote the Indian agri-input industry and allied sectors, including farm mechanization, AI & drone technology, and sustainable agricultural practices. The event will bring together stakeholders from seed, fertilizer, agrochemical, farm mechanization, and technology sectors to discuss innovative solutions aimed at improving crop yield and quality while fostering sustainable agricultural growth.

Focus on Industry Growth and Technological Advancement

The event aims to explore the transformative role of the agri-input industry in enhancing economic resilience and self-sufficiency in agriculture. ICSCE 2025 will provide an opportunity for key stakeholders, including importers, manufacturers, formulators, exporters, technology providers, and start-ups, to collaborate and showcase their contributions to advancing the sector.

The conference is expected to attract eminent speakers and industry leaders, fostering discussions on strategic and practical solutions for strengthening domestic production, optimizing resource efficiency, and empowering farmers as pivotal drivers of India’s agricultural transformation.

Strengthening India’s Agrochemical Industry

PMFAI has been working closely with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and international organizations to advocate for a balanced regulatory framework that supports innovation and competitiveness. By focusing on capacity building, farmer awareness programs, and indigenous manufacturing, the association seeks to reduce dependence on imports and drive India’s self-reliance in agrochemical production.

With ICSCE 2025, PMFAI aims to reinforce its commitment to supporting the growth of the Indian agriculture sector while providing a global platform for knowledge exchange and business networking. The event promises to be a milestone in the advancement of sustainable agriculture and technological integration in the agri-input sector.
