Nichino America, Inc. Announces Management Appointments

Jeffrey Johnson – Chairman and CEO, Nichino America, Inc.

03 May 2023, Wilmington: Nichino America, Inc. announced Management Appointments. The following appointments will take place within the Nichino America, Inc. organization, effective June 1, 2023, the company announced today.

In addition to his current position as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jeffrey Johnson has been named Chairman of Nichino America, Inc. (NAI). Additionally, Johnson will continue in his role as Managing Executive Officer of Nihon Nohyaku Company, Ltd. (the parent company of NAI) with responsibilities for leading the Global Strategy Project Team for the Nichino Group Companies.

Johnson joined Nichino Group in 1997 as the Commercial Development Manager of Nihon Nohyaku America (the predecessor company of NAI). He was named Vice President of the newly formed NAI in 2001, and in 2002, Johnson assumed the position of President. Most recently, in 2021, Johnson was appointed to his present role as President and CEO of Nichino America, Inc.

Dustin Simmons – President, Nichino America, Inc.

Mr. Dustin Simmons has been appointed President, Nichino America, Inc. He will continue to report to Jeffrey Johnson, Chairman and CEO of Nichino America, Inc. (NAI).

Simmons joined NAI in 2008 and has held various positions within the company in the areas of sales, marketing, and business development. In 2017, Simmons was promoted to Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning (Canada, Mexico, U.S.). In 2020, Simmons was instrumental in the successful establishment of Nichino México, a subsidiary of Nichino America, Inc. and was appointed Director de Negocios, Nichino México, Inc. at that time. In 2021, Simmons was promoted to his current position as Commercial Vice President, responsible for overseeing Business Development (Third Party Licensing) for U.S., Canada, and México, Marketing, Strategic Planning, and the México subsidiary business.

Amanda Carson – Director, National Sales

Ms. Amanda Carson has been promoted to Director, National Sales for Nichino America, Inc. (NAI). She will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Carson joined Nichino America Inc. in 2016 as Technical Sales Representative for the northeast territory where she achieved a significant increase in sales. She was promoted to Product Manager in 2018 and was recognized for successfully launching two new products during her time in marketing. In 2021, Carson rejoined the sales team when she was promoted to her current position as East/Central Region Manager.

Christina Dubas – Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs

Ms. Christina Dubas has been promoted to Director, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs for Nichino America, Inc. (NAI). She will report to the Vice President of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs.

Dubas joined Nichino America, Inc. in 2017 as Manager, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs. She has been an integral player in managing regulatory and scientific issues related to active ingredients and formulated products in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. With her vast global, North America, and state regulatory experience, she was promoted to her current role as Senior Manager, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs in 2022.
