ISO Provisionally Approves ‘Quinaminoprole’ as Fungicide Name

01 March2025, New Delhi: ISO has provisionally approved “quinaminoprole” as the common name for a fungicide from Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Co., Ltd., announced on 24th February 2025.

The Chinese common name is 喹菌胺, with the chemical designation N-[2-[[1-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]oxy]ethyl]-4-quinazolinamine (CAS No. 2049581-78-2).

Objections to the name must be filed with the ISO Maintenance Agency by 24th August 2025. If none are received, “quinaminoprole” will be officially included in the next edition of ISO 1750.
