17 May 2022, New Delhi: Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd. (BCA), a group company of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Japan, added a new milestone to its journey by collaborating with one of the fastest-growing e-commerce start-ups in the Agri-tech sector, ‘Plantix’. Plantix is a German-based MNC and its app is world’s most downloaded app among farmers.
Collaboration with Plantix will help Bhart Certis AgriSciences to reach more farmers with this new channel. BCA’s products are now available to farmers on Plantix e-commerce platform. Farmer can use Plantix app which uses artificial intelligence to diagnose Pest infestation in his field and also get access to solution from BCA.
Plantix is currently operational in 7 Indian states, namely Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat and Haryana. The company further plans to start operations in Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Chattisgarh this year.
