05 September 2024, New Delhi: Best Agrolife Ltd. has announced the grant of a binary patent that combines a Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) with insecticides. This patent features an innovative combination of Clothianidin, Dinotefuran, or Acetamiprid with Mepiquat.
This latest patent strengthens Best Agrolife Ltd.’s patent portfolio. Acetamiprid is a broad-spectrum insecticide highly effective against whiteflies and aphids in cotton. It is an acetylcholine receptor agonist, works with contact and systemic action, while Mepiquat ensures optimal plant growth regulation. Its translaminar activity and ovicidal action provide long-lasting control over hidden pests on the underside of leaves, offering farmers a reliable and comprehensive solution.
Leveraging Clothianidin’s neonicotinoid properties, this formulation targets chewing and sucking pests like jassids, thrips, mealy bugs, termites, and shoot borers.
